3. This is not what is needed.
1) What we need is for you to give back the option of insert pictures? All email providers are starting to give this option and AOL took it back!
2) What we need is for you to give option of being able to customise "from" field and also being able to send emails with different email addresses in the form field.
Please work and give these 2 features within the next 15 days!

4. I love my iPhone - full features and movies ar egreat too!
unfortunately though I cannot send emails through AOL webmail - free account - just stopped working dead this morning - cannot send emails at all either through iPhone or directly on line at AOL Mail. Have spent several hours trouble shooting - and can't find a way to contact anybody at AOL - any ideas on how to fix this or contact AOL help without being able to send an email?

5. I have been trying to send a email to Global Media Outreach
. When I press send it comes up as no such emai.
I been getting emails from them for the past 30 days with that email in the From: space.
This is the email address they give me to reply to if I wish.
Why does AOL reject this address???? Please reply.

6. @sunnierstudent: Both features will be available soon. We had to temporarily disalbe insert pictures because we discontinued "AOL Pictures". It will be back. However can you elaborate on "customize from field"? You can already customize your Name under settings.
@Tim: What error messages are you getting? Feel free to contact me at marcelbmbecker(at)aol.com
@CaptainjfjK978: What error message do you get exactly? Is it a bounce mail? If it is then this address most likely does not exist. Senders can put anything into the "from" field - those addresses don't necessarily have to be valid. Let me know where exactly you get the error message and what it says so I can help.

1) I was told a few months back by you or someone else that the insert pictures option will be coming soon but it sill hasn't. You need to be fast before people like me start move on to another service and you know that if people make an email account their primary email account they take a long time to change.
Please make it a point to get this in the next 14 days! xD
2) I just meant to customise from field i.e., to send emails with some another email account in the from field. For example having sunnierstudent(at)gmail.com in the from field of my aim email account.
Did you get it?
And make sure that when you implement this feature it is like Yahoo and not like gmail or hotmail.
From my sunnierstudent(at)yahoo.com webmail account, I can send emails using sunnierstudent(at)aim.com in the from field and when I read that email in MS outlook it says sunnierstudent(at)aim.com in the from field. This is how it should be!
But when I use sunnierstudent(at)gmail.com webmail to to send emails as sunnierstudent(at)aim.com, then when I read that email in MS Outlook, it says sunnierstudent(at)gmail.com on behalf of sunnierstudent(at)aim.com ... this is not good!
Did you get my point?

9. Marcelbmbecker, do you think AIM Email will let people make their own email background themes soon or in the future? If you all are working on something like that, then that would be cool. You all would be the first email service I know of that would let people do that. I hope you all are thinking about doing that.

Can you tell me who are you? Do you have some sort of decision making/influencing power at AOL webmail? Please let me know your email.
I would be more than glad to share my experience (of using various webmail services around the world over the years) and requirements with you because I would love AOL to do well in this field.
On the sideline I want to comment that the themes that you all have given in webmail are stunning! Great work!

11. @Denesia: We are in fact trying to figure out how we can let our users upload their own skins/themes. So stay tuned it will hopefully come soon! :)

12. Just opened AOL Mail, or at least tried too, but it took more than 3 minutes where yesterday, under the "old" e-mail it took seconds. Now everything takes minutes: i.e. to open a message, to send a message, to attach a document, to open an attached document. What gives with this "new " system. Give me the old so I can get something done!

13. @ Twidenhous at 2:10PM,
I think the servers were a little down today around 4-5 hours back (it is 00.24 Central European Time now). It's all working fine now.

15. @Twidenhous: AOL Webmail did was affected by a network issue which in turn was affecting the response time. We did fix the issue and everything should be back to normal.

16. How do I get to comment on the news bulletins ?

17. AOL needs to stop changing the settings because it drops my signature every time. This is a nightmare, it affects my business.

18. I'll be getting a Palm Pre as soon as it ships. Do you have any special plans to support and enhance my AOL experience on the Pre? I presume the WAP mobile website will work. Will there be a spiffier touch version, like for iPhone? Any plans to sync calendar and contacts direct with AOL using Synergy, so I don't have to use that other online service (I think it starts with a "G")?
I hope so! Webmail Team feel free to contact me next week if you need to bounce ideas or need a beta tester!

19. Love my new iphone 3g. Have sync'd Aol contacts through Funambol, and am getting Aol mail pushed to my iphone, as well. those work great. But, when i try to sync aol calendar to the phone it only goes one way, namely the iphone to aol. I need it to go the other way as aol calendar is our primary. Any ideas?
